Community Corrections works with the Ann Arbor Transit Authority to help provide reduced cost transportation to qualifying clients. For an updated bus schedule please visit the AATA website. 

MichiganWorks!

MichiganWorks! Our State’s workforce development program has an office at Washtenaw County Community Corrections, located at 4101 Washtenaw Ave Ann Arbor, MI. A representative from Michigan Works is available to assist our clients in their employment and career training needs, Mondays from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

BTC- Breaking the Cycle

Breaking the Cycle (BTC) is a collaborative relationship between Community Corrections and the Washtenaw County Courts. BTC is a class that focuses on substance abuse education and life coping skills. The BTC Program is coordinated and facilitated by 1st Step Referral Services

BTC Level 1

Monday, Wednesday & Friday
2:30pm or 5:00pm
(Total of 6 hours to complete Level 1)

BTC Level 2

Monday & Wednesday
5:00- 7:30pm

(Total of 10 hours to complete Level 2)

Domestic Violence Bond Review:

Individuals charged with Domestic Violence, and subsequently released on bond, may be Court ordered to Community Corrections to review and sign their Conditions of Release. Clients participating in the Domestic Violence Bond Review Program may be ordered to submit to a random drug test and are required to have $20.00 for said test upon reporting to Community Corrections. Domestic Violence Bond Reviews are conducted every Monday at 9:30am and Thursday at 1:30pm at Community Corrections. Clients of the Domestic Bond Review Program should report to Community Corrections with a photo ID at the assigned date and time on their court papers.
